Sebastian Murk
Portrait of Sebastian Murk

I am a theoretical physicist in the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague. My research lies at the intersection of gravitational physics and quantum information theory, with particular emphasis on dynamical black holes in semiclassical and modified theories of gravity.

I obtained my PhD in 2022 under the supervision of Prof Daniel R. Terno and Prof Gavin K. Brennen at Macquarie University and the Sydney Quantum Academy, Australia. Before moving to the Czech Republic, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, Japan.

All of my publications are available for free on arXiv.
